During the course of the year CSH asks congregants to volunteer, open their homes and sponsor a special Havdalah. We do this at least six times per year. Havdalah (הבדלה) is a religious ceremony that marks the symbolic end of Shabbat and holidays, and ushers in the new week. In Judaism, Shabbat ends—and the new week begins—at nightfall/sunset on Saturday. During these special dates a presenter and topic is chosen and a lively discussion ensues. Please contact us for more details.
